Goeido est toujours invaincu
Goeido maintient son invincibilité mardi et obtient sa 10e victoire en battant son camarade ôzeki Terunofuji .
Le yokozuna Harumafuji et le maegashira 14 Endo restent juste derrière Goeido avec un score de 9-1, tandis que l’ôzeki Kisenosato conserve ses espoirs de promotion.
Goeido a verrouillé ses bras sous Terunofuji avant de le pousser avec force hors du dohyô. Le mongol enregistre sa sixième défaite du tournoi.
Toujours dans les rencontres entre ôzeki, Kisenosato a remporté son 61e face-à-face contre Kotoshogiku. Le leader du championnat Goeido doit rencontrer demain Kisenosato.
Harumafuji a tenu fermement Aoiyama puis l’a renversé sur le dos. Le yokozuna reste dans la course et convoite un deuxième titre consécutif après sa victoire en juillet à Nagoya.
Plus tôt dans l’après-midi, Endo s’est brillamment imposé contre Sadanoumi en sortant son adversaire en ligne droite.
Le sekiwake Takayasu et Okinoumi, tous les deux à 7-2, ont combattu pour se départager. Takayasu a remporté le match après que le pied droit de son adversaire soit sorti. Okinoumi, qui avait fait un début de compétition remarquable, connait sa troisième défaites en quatre jours.
Le maegashira 8 Kotoyuki a expulsé Kagayaki et reste en lice dans le championnat avec huit victoires.
Le yokozuna Kakuryu a obtenu sa septième victoire contre le sekiwake Takarafuji et rejoint ainsi un groupe de cinq lutteurs avec trois défaites dont Kotoshogiku et Okinoumi.
En juryo, Onosho a perdu sa maigre avance suite à sa défaite contre Chiyomaru. Il est rejoint à la première place par Daiki qui a battu Amuru. Les deux hommes de tête sont au score de 8-2.

Goeido continues perfect run at Autumn tourney
Goeido continued his perfect run at the Autumn Grand Sumo Tournament on Tuesday, beating fellow ozeki Terunofuji to claim his 10th win at Ryogoku Kokugikan.
Yokozuna Harumafuji and No. 14 maegashira Endo still trail Goeido with 9-1 records, while ozeki Kisenosato kept his hopes for promotion to grand champion alive by securing a winning record and sits two wins off the pace along with two other wrestlers.
Goeido locked his arms underneath Terunofuji’s and forcefully shoved the Mongolian out of the ring to hand him his sixth loss in the 15-day tourney.
Nagoya victor Harumafuji, aiming to win back-to-back championships, held firm against Aoiyama (5-5), toppling the Bulgarian fifth-ranked maegashira onto his back at the edge of the ring.
Earlier, Endo was dominant throughout his fight with Sadanoumi (4-6) as he bulldozed the helpless No. 10 maegashira out the dohyo.
In a battle of two ozeki with 7-2 records, Kisenosato, who had started out losing twice in the first three days of this meet, prevailed over Kotoshogiku in their 61st career matchup. Kisenosato now has a 29-32 record against Kotoshogiku.
Goeido is set to meet Kisenosato on Wednesday.
Another bout between wrestlers with two losses each saw sekiwake Takayasu and Okinoumi struggling to take control, but the top maegashira took the loss after stepping out of the ring with his right foot.
Eighth-ranked maegashira Kotoyuki (8-2) pushed out No. 14 maegashira Kagayaki (6-4) to remain in contention for the championship.
Mongolian yokozuna Kakuryu picked up his seventh win after edging out sekiwake Takarafuji (3-7) and sits in a group of five wrestlers with three losses each along with Kotoshogiku and Okinoumi.
